We brought Molli to Frederiksberg Swimhall at 1pm this afternoon. Mette and Vibeke joined us there.
Molli had fallen asleep an hour before we left the house, and remained completely out right up until Trine and Mette began undressing her in the locker room. By the time we were changing her into her plastic diaper in the baby-pool changing area, she was wide awake and terrified. I don’t know if it was the commotion (the swimhall on a winter Saturday is about as raucous an environment as she’s ever encountered), the temperature, the heebie-jeebies, or what, but she was shivering more than Popeye’s timbers. It kind of freaked me out, but I watched the womenfolk carefully and they seemed to be chalking it up to nerves.
There aren’t any especially interesting stories or anecdotes, but there are a lot of pictures (we took 125 in total, including about 6-7 videos… I’ve already deleted about 30, and can probably delete another 30-50 with Trine’s guidance, but at least half of them are actually keepers). I’m just going to post the pictures below, and if there’s anything worth commenting on in any particular picture, you’ll be able to see the comment by holding your cursor over the photo until the comments appear. (I’ll use “No comment” as the default so you won’t be left wonder if there are no comments, or if you simply didn’t hold your cursor over the photo long enough.)
I have to publicly thank Moster Mette for having taken some great shots, especially of the three of us, because she was very nervous about her photographic responsibilities. She shouldn’t have been… the picture of us down toward the end of this post is one of the best shots in existence of Trine, Molli, and me.
I loved the pictures. Molli really seems to take to the water. I may have to build a pool for when you are here.
