We had a lovely visit with bean this evening, each of us logging about an hour of Mollicoddling. She was very sleepy, which the nurse attributed to her fight against the jaundice. She is positive for jaundice, after all, but it hasn’t really taken hold of her and they think she’s capable of beating it back on her own–although it does tucker her out a little. She’s such a doll when she sleeps, just squirming gently and squeaking like a contented puppy. Not to be outdone by Trine, I let her sleep on my own bare chest, but for some reason she always ends up trying to chew my chest hairs, even when she’s asleep, so we have to lay a little bit of gauze under her face to keep her from chewing.
Trine and I are utterly exhausted. She’s already pretty much asleep, I’m just closing down with a bath and a book and then calling it a night. Here’s a shot from this morning–I got some cute video, too, but I just don’t have it in me to do much more right now.
