Molli Busts Out!

I had a gruelling (I’m not being sarcastic) exam at Studieskolen today. The only good thing about it is that we were permitted to leave school once we finished the test. The test, which began at about 11:50, was so hard that I didn’t get out until nearly 2:00—and I was (selvfølgelig!) the first to finish. I called Trine to brag about being first and out and get my Molli update.

“I’m out in the hospital garden,” she said.

“Good to get some fresh air?” I asked. Trine spends to much time in the baby afsnit that she hardly ever sees the sky.

“Good for me—and for Molli!” They’d lent her a stroller and Molli had been rolled out into the actual world! She’d seen the sky, smelled the fragrant blossoms, inhaled god-knows-how-many pollens and pollutants. I was thrilled. And it gets better: she’s eating enough off Trine now that they’re giving Trine one of the “living” rooms, wheeling her bed in there (yes, Trine still has a bed at her disposal there) and letting her try to feed Molli all weekend. Nights and everything. No tube. So I’m in hurry-up mode to do some quick laundry and get out to the hospital—with our pram! So we can take our first family stroll together while this (finally) beautiful weather holds! And stock up on exclamation points!

I therefore have no further time to write about it… Sorry! (!!!)

  1. What a great day. I hope Molli enjoyed her first taste of fresh air. Does she tan well? What great progress.

  2. C’est magnifique! What wonderful news! Enjoy, enjoy this family day. How wonderful that Molli is tubeless and out in the world.

    Tout l’amour,
    Farmor
