Released from Captivity

Hvidovre Zoo: Human Habitat

That’s been our room at Hvidovre for the past couple of days. Trine got the bed, I got the couch, and Molli got the crib (not shown).

Molli weighed 2820 grams (6.2 pounds) this morning before she ate a drop. The 2775 measurement two days ago was taken after a meal. She’s had no tube feeding at all for two days, so she clearly has no problem sustaining herself off Trine. Not only that, but she only woke up for two quick feedings last night. And she’s as healthy and energetic as ever. All of which is very good news, because Molli lives with us now.

We’ve got a checkup Monday morning, but that’s just a checkup.

Molli’s new address is Lyøvej 14, st. mf., 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark.

Our little girl is home at last!

  1. What wonderful news. I am so happy for you all and I know that Molly will be very, very happy to be at home and not need to be schlepped around.

P.S. Now I wish I were coming over sooner, but I’lljust have to be patient.
