It’s been kind of busy since Saturday, but I did want to post some pictures from our Tivoli adventure. We went in at about 6 or 7pm, taking the stroller on the Metro and then the S-Train. A lot of firsts for little Molli.
Here she is earlier in the day, enjoying a little post-meal burp:
Here she is shortly after our arrival in Tivoli. (You have to take my word for it that we didn’t just bring an empty stroller into Tivoli, but I’m assuming you’ll trust me at least that much.)
Of course, Tivoli probably wasn’t such a big thrill for her. Out of curiosity we took a couple of pictures from her perspective to see what Tivoli (and most of the rest of the world) looks like from her point of view… call it the Mollicam:
We did finally pluck her out of the carriage to get conclusive and irrefutable proof that the girl had in fact made it to Tivoli on the six-week anniversary of her birth—she doesn’t seem especially happy in this pic, but we moved to a secluded spot and Trine fed her not long afterwards, and she was absolutely cherubic the rest of the evening.
Trine brought Molli in for a checkup with the doctor today. Everything is just lovely. She (the doctor) says Molli is 53cm long and weighs 3600 grams. She said not to worry about the discrepancy between her measurements and Anna Greve’s—which were themselves very different from those of Hvidovre. We can’t get a standard measurement of a six-week-old girl, but we expect peace in the Middle East?
It’s raining again, so I suppose our Danish summer is over now. It was a great couple of weeks!
Lovely pictures but still no report in either IRM or MSN boxes. Very strange.
