I made it through my overnight vigil with Molli. She’s fine. Actually she behaved no differently than she usually does, except when she woke up hungry at 3:30 I gave her 20ml of sugared camomile tea instead of milk. She woke again about fifteen minutes ago and Trine, who had woken up about five minutes earlier, gave her 40ml of the camomile, and she’s acting as if nothing unusual ever even happened. So, yeah, I’m a sucker for staying up all night, just like Debbie told me I would be.
But I’m glad I did. This time. Next time… I’m sleeping.
So sorry Molli was sick and I understand how sick with worry you were. But she seems to have bounced back pretty quickly, thank goodness. I bet you’ll crash tonight!
Anne was right – you wouldn’t want Molli gaining weight at the rate she was. Most babies double their birth weight in 6 months. She’s already nearly tripled hers!
I don’t think the photographer was kidding you – Molli is beautiful and I’ve spent the last day at the computer printing out dozens of photos so I know whereof I speak. Looking forward to seeing new photos when you get your camera back. I was wondering about that.
I love the names Deb and Hannah found and it certainly is funny what is allowed and what isn’t.
Hope you and Trine don’t catch Molli’s bug.
Love,
Farmor
