We just got home a couple of hours ago. They’re still sandblasting but ought to be done tomorrow. Then they begin waterblasting. The noise is beyond annoying. Molli’s room gets too much noise for her to nap. Not sure how we’ll handle that.
It was a lovely eight days up in Værløse. I got a ton of writing done and we all got to relax and enjoy the silence. (Although compared to what’s going on as I write this, Grand Central would offer enjoyable silence.)
There will be pictures and light narrative to come—though not nearly so much as you’d think, because mostly we did nothing.
Molli is now a full-blown toddler, however. Last night we even took her for her first walk: we each held one of her hands and we walked out morfar’s front door, down to the sidewalk, along the sidewalk to the corner, around the corner, and another twenty or thirty yards before Molli finally became so obsessed with a dandelion sprouting from a crack in the sidewalk that the walk came to an end.
Molli Malou, an unsigned free agent with New England aspirations, has reported to camp…
Her transportation mix is now about 75% walking, 20% crawling, and 5% falling.
She spent the first hour or so back home just walking around the living room and laughing. We’re not sure what was so funny but think it may just have been her way of expressing happiness at being home among all the familiar things (and toys).
Anyway, we’re home and we’ll gradually be getting caught up with things over the next couple of days.
She can be on my team any day. Looks like she’s a runner already!
Glad you had a good and restful vacation and look forward to hearing and seeing more about it.
Kisses to Molli.
As an unsigned free agent does she have an agent? I know one who would love to represent her.
