Molli Malou is two today!
Here is my annual tribute: a month-by-month chronicle of that fabulous face. (Pix and a video of the 2-day birthday goings-on will be posted tomorrow, unless we do a 4th of July barbecue, in which case it’ll be up Wednesday.)
Haircuts aside, it’s striking to me how she looks practically identical from one month to the next, and yet she looks very different in photographs taken only a few months apart. I know that’s just how it goes, but it’s still striking.
To me.
The July 2006 photo is from her birthday party. And yes, the first twelve months are the same twelve photos I used last year. This collection will also be the first 24 of next year’s 36 pictures. And so on.
Because I am now working the second shift (4pm-midnight), I will be unable to manage intercontinental video conferencing for the birthday girl this afternoon or evening. But I will try to fix our video problems and Trine will be able to do it.
(I should mention that the birthday girl opened her American gifts this morning, and we caught that on film.)
