Over a month since the last post… shameful! But I’m posting this as a kind of hopeful marker: things are finally slow enough that I ought to be able to get us caught up before I go back to work on Monday. (I can’t believe this month is almost already over!)
Pop-Pop left 10 days ago, Nana less than a week ago, and Morfar left yesterday morning, so it’s just the four of us again.
Maddie weighed in at over 4.2 kilos during today’s visiting nurse visit, so she gained more in the past week than she had in the previous two weeks. Probably because she’s eating twice as much. Also she took an enormous and very normal looking (and textured) dump last night… just four days after her last one. So the two-pronged fix of bigger nipple openings in her bottles and upping the laxatives seems to be working.
She’s also making her first attemtps at laughter.
Molli Malou gave herself a haircut last night, and the full anecdote and pictures will follow with all the rest of the past month of pictures.
And for the record, Maddie Marie Kammer Nagan was named officially on March 6th at the Værløse parish, and the applications for her American citizenship, birth certificate, passport, and social security number were filed (with Nana in tow) on March 9th.
